The 2023 Continuing Education component of the MS Tax Collector Education and Certification Program will be offered during the months of June and July. In order to maintain levels of certification, participants will be required to attend at least one of the continuing education sessions. Only individuals that successfully complete Collector of Revenue I or II, IAAO Course 400 or 402 between October 1, 2022, and September 30, 2023 are exempt from having to attend Continuing Education this year. Each individual must attend a morning or afternoon session. The sessions will be three hours in length. Course Information:
Courses will be offered via Zoom. Each session will be limited to 125 people. The same topic will be offered during each session. We encourage you to sign on early. Participants must remain visible and on camera for the duration of the session to receive credit. Your local MSU Extension office may be able to accommodate you if you do not have access to the necessary technology. Participants are only required to attend one session.

Registration Information:
To register, please visit gcd.msucares.com and click on “Register for Upcoming Events”. There you will find the link to register for the courses. There are limited seats available at each course location. If the remaining seats left is listed at zero “0” select a different location, date, or time. The deadline to register is Friday, June 2, 2023. The registration fee to attend is $30. Everyone must pay the registration fee regardless of status (county, private, state, etc.) Credit for attendance will not be given until payment is received.
